Subjects include:- Wild Life - Modern Art - Mixed Media Art - Roseberry Topping - African Wild Life - Captain Cook's Endeavour at Whitby - Guisborough Priory - North Yorkshire scenes - and more. Please bear in mind that, of necessity, these 'web' pictures are of extremely low resolution and quality and are only suitable for viewing on screen at the sizes reproduced here. Our original reproductions carry detail approximately equal to that of the original artworks. Our 'Fine Art Photography' service offers artists and collectors the means to retain reproduction quality transparencies of their original images. These transparencies give the artist the ability to generate continued income, long after the sale of the original artworks (copyright permitting). Some of the works displayed are for sale and are marked accordingly. We welcome other artists wishing to exhibit and sell from this site - please contact us for details.

Tony is a freelance artist who specialises in mythological and fantastical images. His specialist work is regularly used by publishers Harper Collins, to illustrate the works of the author, J.R.R. Tolkein. Tony is a typical example of an artist earning money from his paintings whilst retaining the original artworks. His original paintings were photographed at Viking Studios onto 'Fine Art Transparencies'. The transparencies were then sent to the publishers to have the Tolkein books illustrations prepared for print. Subsequently, some of the transparencies were used in other publications by Harper Collins, earning additional royalties for the artist.

When I looked at Peter's work I saw immediately that, despite a slight nod in the direction of Salvador Dali, this was a truly imaginative search for the demons and angels which live in the well of his subconscious. They are not reassuring paintings but they are entirely authentic, extraordinarily interesting and disturbing. - George Melly
